But first, thanks for such incredible generosity in 2025. Together, we helped more than 124,000 people of all ages enjoy free programs via the Des Moines Public Library system. A special thanks to the 232 library fans who made first-time gifts in 2025. We are deeply grateful to have you on the team.
Looking ahead, there will be some special milestones to celebrate in this new year. AViD (Authors Visiting in Des Moines) will mark its 25th year; this beloved program has connected tens of thousands of readers with inspiring voices. Additionally, Central Library will celebrate 20 years of operation as a cornerstone of downtown and vibrant hub for our entire community. More details on these milestones and much more in the weeks ahead.
