The Des Moines City Council is currently discussing potential budget cuts across departments, including possible impacts on the Des Moines Public Library system. The Council’s work session on June 17 will be open to the public; please attend if you can. Council chambers are located within the T.M. Franklin Cownie City Administration Building at 1200 Locust Street.
